Sellaronda- around the 4 passes with skis
The Sella Ronda ski circuit is the most famous of the Dolomites, also known as a tour of the 4 passes, because connecting many valleys of the Dolomites.
- Passo Sella (2240 m) connects the Val di Fassa and Val Gardena
- Passo Pordoi (2239 m) connects the Val di Fassa and Val di Livinallongo del Col di Lana;
- Passo Campolongo (1875 m) connects the Val di Livinallongo del Col di Lana Val Badia;
- Passo Gardena (2121 m) connects the Val Badia and Val Gardena.
Directly from our apartments, that are situated on the Sella Ronda route in Arabba, you can go without ever taking your skis off, the 40 km between slopes and lifts of the Sellaronda.
The path can be made in both directions, clockwise is the orange Sellaronda, counterclockwise the green Sellaronda, presents no particular difficulties, is required only a minimum of physical condition and training.
It’s advisable to start the course in the morning at 10 to finish without the risk of finding the lifts already closed, calculate approx 5-6 hours to make the entire journey including lunch time.
